The Killers have released the music video to their second single "Spaceman" off their 4th Studio Album "Day and Age". The clip is very much in the mold of many of Duran Durans videos, with a dash of Ziggy Stardust and Queen thrown in for extra oddities. This is definitely one crazy video.

The Killers and Coldplay have announced plans to play a one-off charity gig. The two bands are due to perform at Shepherds Bush Empire on 18 February for the War Child organisation. Tickets for the double header are priced at ?50 and will be available through a lottery system. Fans can enter the lottery at 9am, on 30 January through the charity's website. The event will follow that evening's Brit Awards with both bands playing 45 minute sets.

The Killers are planning to do an album of covers, each band member choosing 3 songs for the band to cover.

Island Def Jam is moving up by a day the release dates for the Killers' "Day & Age," Ludacris' "Theater of the Mind" and Kanye West's "808s & Heartbreak," in what it says is an attempt to capitalize on the Thanksgiving shopping weekend. All three albums were due Nov. 25 but will now come out off-cycle on Monday, Nov. 24 in both physical and digital formats.

The Killers have released the video for their new single Human, off the soon to be released album Day and Age. It's an oddly peaceful clip...very different to their recent efforts....however it features their long awaited return to the desert!!

The band's fourth album, Day & Age will be released November 25, 2008 (November 24th in the UK). The album's first single, "Human," will debut worldwide on September 22nd, and the digitial single will be released September 30th.

The Killers' Brandon Flowers has said that his band are approaching their "peak". He said he was pleased the US rockers were headlining this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals because they are still getting better as a band. The group played hits from their Hot Fuss and Sam's Town LPs at last year's Glastonbury Festival, but the singer argued there was no reason for them to disappear from the public eye. Flowers told NME: "People say you need to go away, but I don't see the reason for it. We're about to reach our peak now - I don't think we've reached it yet. "I feel like I'm learning more about becoming a better singer, I'm becoming a better songwriter and we're getting better at all the things we do, so it's exciting for me." Talking about the group's third album, he said: "We go into the studio in June and we're planning on having the album done by [the time we play Reading and Leeds], so we'll definitely want to play some new songs when we get over."
